The Barn Board fills a void in the equine community by providing an efficient and less time-consuming way for people who want to find and connect with horse-related businesses, services and events … and for these businesses to be found (whether or not they have existing websites) and get new customers and clients.

 

Equine businesses can create a listing and each listing becomes a beautifully designed web page on our site and includes information such as: descriptions, location, web/social media feeds, gallery images, video and much more.

 

Once approved, each listing will immediately become a part of the directory and display on the searchable The Barn Board Map.

 

Visitors to the site can search the ever-growing directory to discover boarding barns, riding lessons, riding camps, equine services, events, and tack shops in their local areas.

Adding your equine-related business is simple! Click the “Add a Listing” button on the website. There is a video that explains the process. Depending on the category you choose, you will have options to create a free listing or a paid listing (small monthly fee).

 

You can preview your listing page during the listing process. Your listing will appear live on our site once approved by our site administrator (typically within one business day or less).

 

Once you have created or claimed your listing, you can easily log in anytime to modify your listing page or to create additional listing pages.

A featured listing means that you have purchased a Featured package subscription. Featured listings are displayed towards the top of the search results as well as on the home page, included in The Barn Board social media and newsletters – thereby, increasing your visibility overall which is one of the benefits of a Featured listing.

Search results can be narrowed down by using the filters on the search page. Filters are located on the left-hand side of the page on a desktop, and from the “Filters” drop-down found on the right side, on mobile.

 

Each category (i.e. Boarding Barns, Riding Lessons, Camps, Services, Tack Shops, Events) has its own filters relevant to the category.

Having a website is great. However, your website is likely visited mostly by people who already know about your business. Listings on The Barn Board’s searchable directory enables your equine business to reach new audiences and connect with others who may not already know about you. 

 

A listing on TheBarnBoard.com is searchable by people in your local community. 

Besides, The Barn Board is actively marketed using Facebook/Instagram ads, Google PPC, local events, Facebook groups, etc. By being an active part of The Barn Board, you will surely benefit! Get found. Get Traffic. Get new customers!

No. The Barn Board does not yet offer support over the phone. If you have any questions regarding the site or your account, please use the CHAT feature on our website or email info@thebarnboard.com.

If you are experiencing issues with the website, please contact support@thebarnboard.com right away and include the following within your report, so that we can solve the problem as quickly as possible: 

 

  • The email address your account is registered to
  • A detailed description of what you are experiencing. The more details, the better!
  • Any error messages you are receiving
  • The name of the internet browser you are using
  • Name of the device you are using 
  • A screenshot(s) of the page as you encounter the issue 
  • The URL of the page you are viewing (this is the address of the page you are on and is displayed in your browser’s address bar, as pictured below). Copy the URL of the pages you are having trouble with, and paste them into your report 

As we are a self-serve service, you are always able to cancel your subscription yourself. This can be done by going to the Subscriptions area of your account, viewing your Subscription, and clicking the ‘Cancel’ button.

The Barn Board does not process refunds for subscription charges. You’re able to cancel future subscriptions, however. Please review our Terms of Service before purchasing a subscription and make sure you understand the terms.
